The censored version of the film I wrote, performed in, and for which served as the Fight Director and Executive Producer. The film was created as part of the Asian American Film Lab's 72 Hour Shootout; the teams were given a theme and were expected to turn in a completed film in 72 hours. This year's theme was "A guest in my own country."
We were awarded the Grand Prize for Best Film of the Shootout.
INS & Outs has been screened at several festivals including Asians on Film 2013, Sinehan sa Summer 2014, Planet Connections Film Festival 2014 and was Short of the Month for May 2014 with Film Festival Flix.
Screenwriting
In addition to acting and producing, I am also a screenwriter. My original TV pilot, Out of Aces received readings through LoNYLA, an international producing organization and broadcasting platform, with artistic hubs in New York, LA, London, Hong Kong and Singapore.
I'm currently developing my first feature, Funeral March.

Teaching and Fight Direction
I have led workshops and taught classes at various institutions including The Groton School and the American University of Kuwait. I'm currently an instructor in the Acting program at the New York Film Academy.
I have always been a martial arts enthusist. I hold a black belt in Shotokan karate and have studied other styles including Muay Thai kickboxing, western (American) boxing, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have also received stage combat training through the Society of American Fight Directors and Dueling Arts International for unarmed, single rapier, rapier and dagger, quarterstaff and knife.
I am available to work as a freelance fight director.
